Alexandria , Egypt
Alexandria is a glorious place to visit and live. With great weather, pleasant citizens and tons of locations to see, It's Egypt's prime port and the country's second-largest city. Unlike the rest of the country, it is cool and wet in the winter, with refreshing Mediterranean breezes during the heat of summer.
Arriving by train from Cairo is an experience you'll never forget , it's country landscapes are glorious along with the very well kept trains. Once you arrive, find accommodation, there are abundant options from 5 stars hotels to youth hostels. The transportation varies from taxis and buses to carts by which you can have an enjoyable tour along the coastline going through Alexandria's library. Besides the library, there are about seven museums on the inside as well as a planetarium. Pompey's Pillar and the cemetery stand out as historical places, and we can't forget about the catacombs.
Try the local food from the street, traditional and clean. My biggest recommendation is the tea with mint and mango juice. The beach is insanely beautiful, yet I do suggest going further out from the city itself.
Have no doubt, Egypt will impress you.

REVIEW OF A TRIP – ARTURO CAÑO DEL CURA
I went to Almería with my family, to a coastal town called Roquetas de Mar. We stayed at the Neptune hotel. My first impresión ofi t was really Good, I liked it’s architectural design. The hotel workers were very hospitable with us, and I imagine that with the others guests aswell. Through the week we stayed there, we had some problems that weren’t the hotel’s fault, and they kindly helped us with everything. The hotel room was cool, it has a balcony that faces to the hotel’s swimming pool, which is very big. But the most stunning thing about it is that it has two water slides in it. It was really cool sliding through them. Next to the pool there is a smaller one, that is roofed and climatized. The hotel’s restaurant is a free buffet, with a big number of diffrent and Delicious food each day. But the best part of it is the dessert, there is a cooker making Delicious crêpes at real time, that you can put chocolate and cream on them. One thing that surprised me a lot was that the people who stays in the first floor can go directly to the swimming pool through their balcony. And finally, the atmosphere in the streets of the town is really Good. The streets aren’t crowded but lively. And the people in the local shops and the food stalls at the beach are so friendly with the costumers. I would definitely recommend to visit this place .
WRITING: REVIEW
Athens is a magical place where tradition and history combine perfectly to result in an ideal city to spend your vacations, learning about the customs of the place and about the origins of the first civilizations.
Athens is the capital of Greece. It was also at the center of Ancient Greece, a powerful empire and civilization. In the city, geographical sites from the 5th century BC still predominate, including the Acropolis, a citadel on a hill with ancient building, such as the Parthenon temple with its columns, from where the views are absolutely breathtaking. The fact of being practically surrounded by the crystalline and turquoise waters of the Aegean Sea, gives a light and vividness to the city that will be impregnated in the photos that are taken throughout the trip.
One must-to-see place in Athens is the well-known, “Plaka neighbourhood”. In the shadow of the Acropolis and its ancestral temples of mythology, at the foot of the hill, is Plaka, a neighbourhood with a rustic appearance and narrow cobbled streets, lined with tiny shops that sell jewelry, clothing and local ceramics. Family-run cafes and taverns are open until late afternoon, an ideal place to try the incredibly delicious Greek yogurts, accompanied by different fruits and toppings of your choice.
When I went to Athens, I stayed in the Grande Bretagne hotel, a beautiful and luxurious 5 star hotel, centrally located on syntagma square.
It currently has 320 rooms and suites whose prices range from the most affordable to the most expensive luxury suites. It has lots of facilities including two swimming pools and a restaurant, with views to the Parthenon, on its green roof.
Some of the foods I highly recommend to try in Athens are the typical dishes such as Moussaka, a consistent dish that is served very hot. It is a kind of lasagne whose ingredients are minced lamb, aubergines and tomato. The other dish is called Gyros. It is pita bread stuffled with roast meat (chicken or lamb), tomato, onion and sauce. The name is due to the fact that the meat is constantly turning while it cooks, as is the case with the meat of Turkish kebabs. This mix of Turkish and Mediterranean food is due to the fact Greece was invaded for many years by the Ottoman Empire.
In conclusion, I can’t say anything but positive things about the trip, it is a place where you can learn many new things while enjoying good weather and food.

WRITING PART 1:
I think travelling can broaden the mind in many different ways. For example, if you go to visit a country that has different cultures, you can search about them and learn them in an entertaining way, which is through travelling. You don't always have to learn the culture or the history of a country by studying or reading books, you can also understand it through your own experience by visiting them.
Another way to broaden your mind by travelling is that you can meet new people, although I doubt tourists start talking to strangers of another country, in my opinion it is the best way of opening our minds and learning new things. You can learn to speak better the language or also learn beautiful places in other countries. Another good idea is to share experiences with other people, or do new activities. I mean, if you live in a sunny place with beaches you can learn from someone who lives in a cold place how to ski or do those kinds of activities, while, from you, he can learn how to surf or do beach activities.
Finally, visiting other landscapes is going to be an ideal plan while you travel, since this way you can enjoy different places and compare them to know which one you like more and which one you would return to.

Travel review
Last summer I went to Calahonda, a small village in Granada. I go there all summers because my father bought a house 8 years ago, and since then, I´ve been going 15 days per year. Anyway, this summer was different from the rest.
As everybody should know, in 2020, Covid-19 appeared, affecting our holidays making them kind of boring due to the preventive measures which were implanted to avoid the virus.
I go to Granada by car with my father, brother and grandma. Because it’s the cheapest and the most comfortable way we can travel, we are able to stop whenever we want. The only negative point I can see is the time it takes to get there; we append an entire afternoon! That´s why we always travel at the early morning of the day.
As soon as we got there, the tradition we have been making is to go my father, my brother and me, to the beach just after we put the luggage inside the house and spend the afternoon together.
The rest of the holidays in Granada it´s just doing whatever we want, we can go to the beach, to the pool, we can play football, etc.
What makes amazing being in Granada its how near the beach is to our house, we are able to go by foot and get there in 2 minutes! And what I would like to change, is that there are not many teens
My trip to Brighton
In third grade my class and I had a trip to Brighton, England to practise our English speaking. In the flight to Brighton, I sat next to the corridor and next to Arturo. Next to Arturo was sat Vanessa. Arturo and I spent most of the flight scaring Vanessa because of the flight. Once we arrive in Brighton, we met the people that was going to let us live in their houses, Nacho and me was going to live with a very nice men who had participate in activities like this with other students a lot of times. We bring from Spain some Turron for giving to present to the man that was giving us shelter. Like Nacho is celiac, our dinners where in loop: pizza free gluten, pasta free gluten and chicken nuggets free gluten. They where delicious for being free gluten. When we went to the high school, we met with our bodies who where the people who we have to go with to their classes. My bodies were a guy called Jensen; he is very nice. He is one year younger than me. In his class was some moments that I was very uncomfortable because like I was like exotic sometimes I had mostly all the class looking at me with a very creepy face, but they were all very nice. There where a girl who ask me several times if I had girlfriend and if I want to be her boyfriend, but last time she asks me if I had girlfriend and I answer that I didn’t have one she told me: “How do you not have girlfriend, I am your girlfriend.” This make me a little uncomfortable but nowadays is a funny story to tell to (my) friends. My favourite part of the trip it was when the first day we have to return alone from one trip to the tourist part of the city when we let the bus. We see the sea and we think if we have to go to the house who is far away from the sea we have to go through this way. We were wrong we have to go by the other way and then change of direction we didn’t knew it so we get lost like for three hours. These three hours help me to knew Maria and David better. My and nacho tried to call our host but because in England we have to write different the mobile number we weren’t able to do it. When we enter the house, we think our host was going to be worried about us but he didn’t because he was used to host university students who come very late at night. Like I had a lot of fun trying to know how to go to the house I remember this like a good thing.

MY TRIP TO BELGIUM
My last trip was more than one year ago, before the Covid-19 situation.
I used to travel more frequently because my family really likes visiting new countries, but, now, we aren´t even planning to leave Madrid.
I went to Belgium in winter, I can´t remember exactly when, but, I guess it was February of 2019.
It was a family trip, my parents weren´t the only ones that came with me, but also my cousin, aunt and uncle.
We had to take a flight of about four hours, maybe a little bit less, but, for me, they were more like eight hours instead. I was really excited to get there.
We stayed in Brussels three days, where we could visit some iconic and important places.
I found the city really different from what I expected it to be.
I got knocked out with the views of the city at night.
Some places like “The Grand Place” and the “ Atomium” were spectacular, but what I will always remember from this trip was the fact that I could visit the city with my family. We had such an enjoyable trip because, we tried some local food, which appeared to be really tasty, waffles impressed me so much, and they became one of my favourites dishes.
We stayed in a hotel that was located in the centre of the city, so we could walk everywhere.
The only thing that I didn’t like from the trip was that it was that it was a bit short, we just stayed there three days. However, I could visit the most touristic places in the city.
I´d recommend this trip to everyone.

My travel experience
The best trip I’ve ever made was three years ago to the United States. It was the second time I went outside Spain so I was very excited. I went there to visit my oldest sister, who was living there for a year. I went with my parents, my other sister and my grandmother. We first went some days to Connecticut, the state where my sister was living, then we visited Boston for only one day, and we ended the trip in New York, where we spent five days.
I was very excited about traveling so far, but at no time I had imagined it was going to be such an amazing place. Only when I arrived did I realize how big the city of New York was. I loved the skyscrapers, the houses made of wood, all the lights of the street, the flags all over the city…
I loved all the new experiences I lived there, but the most amazing one was going to the top of a 260 meters high skyscraper. From there, you could see the whole city, and the sights were amazing. Not in a million years, did I think that I would visit all the famous places of New York that appear on TV, such as Central Park, Time’s Square, The Empire State Building…
No sooner had I returned to Madrid, I realized it had been the best trip I’ve ever made and until now, it has been a unique experience for me to have the chance of seeing such a beautiful city. But the most unique thing of this travel was to meet again my sister after been so many months without seeing her.
